Recently, Ningbo hosted a globally green conference. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Green and Sustainable Development Forum, jointly organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, concluded successfully here on April 30. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the beginning of China's 15th Five Year Plan. At such a historic juncture, the convening of this forum holds extraordinary significance. During the forum, representatives from various countries conducted multidimensional in-depth discussions on the theme of "implementing global governance initiatives and jointly promoting green and sustainable development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization". The collision of ideas ultimately condensed into a significant achievement - the "Ecological Co construction Green Companion - Shanghai Cooperation Organization Countries Sustainable Development Cooperation Ningbo Initiative" was officially released. This initiative advocates for "ecological co construction" to unite global efforts, and "green peers" to lead low-carbon transformation, providing a solid framework for exploring new paths in global environmental governance and building a community of shared life between humans and nature.

When Chinese and foreign guests from SCO member states, observer states, and dialogue partner countries stop in front of the booth, their gaze is firmly attracted by a series of avant-garde and high-quality trendy products. Who would have thought that these exquisite baseball caps and fashionable electric toothbrushes were originally discarded fishing nets and plastic waste that floated in the ocean and severely damaged the ecology? From the headache inducing marine pollutants to the highly sought after low-carbon consumer goods, attendees witnessed this incredible 'magnificent turn' together.
